Sonos Troubleshooting - How to Reboot
Reboot Sonos products
This article provides steps to reboot your Sonos products.
All products (except Move, Roam, and Roam SL)
- Unplug the power cord.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and allow one minute for the product to boot up.
Sonos Move and Move 2
- Take your Move product off of the charging base.
- Hold the Power button for at least 5 seconds, or until the status light turns off.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Press the Power button or place your Move product back onto its charging base.
Sonos Roam and Roam SL
Standard Reboot
- Disconnect Roam from charging cables and remove it from wireless chargers.
- Hold the button on the back of Roam for at least five seconds until you hear the power-off tone and the light above the Sonos logo turns off.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Press the button on the back of Roam to turn it back on.
Force Reboot
If your Roam appears to be stuck or frozen, you can perform a Force Reboot by holding down the button on the back of Roam for 15 seconds, or until light above the Sonos logo turns on again.
